WSN Announces "Tribal Talk - Featuring The Bear Woods Show"

WETUMPKA, Ala. - The Wetumpka Sports Network will air "Tribal Talk - Featuring The Bear Woods Show" every Tuesday night at Wharf Casual Seafood on US-231 throughout the fall athletics season.

Beginning on Aug. 19, the new radio show will be broadcast on WRFS 105.1 FM "The Lake" from 6:30-7:30 p.m. each week. It will also be broadcast on The Wetumpka Sports Network YouTube channel and Facebook.

Gavan Baxley will host the weekly show, as he'll sit down with Wetumpka athletic director and head football coach Bear Woods. The show will also feature a variety of other coaches and players from Wetumpka's many sports programs.

Reprising the name of "Tribal Talk", which previously served as the pregame show for Indians football for the 2022 season, it will now focus on coaches, players and previewing all of Wetumpka Athletics.

The show will serve as a way to preview upcoming events for Wetumpka football and more, giving fans further insight into what to expect when the team takes the field on friday nights. Fans are encouraged to join us at Wharf Casual Seafood for each show. Fan questions are welcomed, and can be submitted in-person, or by messaging The Wetumpka Sports Network on Facebook or @wetumpkasportsnetwork on Instagram. Subscribers will also be able to comment on the YouTube livestream of the show.

The Show will feature Coach Bear Woods along with players and coaches from various sports each week. 

The Wetumpka Athletics season begins on Aug. 22, when Indians football travels to take on Beauregard.
